We’re in a peaceful and picturesque corner of Cornwall and we know we’re biased, but we love it here and we think you will too. It has all the benefits of being slightly off the beaten track while being close enough to the coast and to many of Cornwall’s most popular attractions, such as the Eden Project and Poldark country. On the park, there’s a friendly community of owners and we get to know you quickly, making sure you have everything you need when you’re here. Come and see what you think. We don’t do the pushy sales thing; we let the park speak for itself. If you love it as much as we do, that’s wonderful. If you decide it’s not for you, that’s not a problem.
It’s a lovely, low-key life at St Mabyn. We are not one of those big resorts with keep fit classes every morning and entertainment shows every night. If your idea of heaven is a luxury lodge in peaceful rural location with a few friendly neighbors, St Mabyn is for you. We have a small reception team looking after you, space for the children to play, and woodland walks to keep the dog happy. There’s an EV charging point onsite and the rest is up to you. Sit back, enjoy the sound of the birdsong and relax into Cornwall country life.
St Mabyn is the ideal location for owning a lodge if you are a walker. There are plenty of satisfying local walks in and around the village and we’re close to Bodmin Moor, the Camel Trail and the South West Coast Path. We’re close to the beach too; dune-backed Daymer Beach is a favourite with our owners and guests, as well as Polzeath and Fistral Bay for the surfers. Within a short drive, you can visit the Eden Project, Lanhydrock Gardens and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, as well as Bodmin Jail, Jamaica Inn and Tintagel Castle.
We have a range of holiday lodges to suit different budgets and requirements. You can choose a pre-owned or a brand-new lodge, and you also have some flexibility on the layout of your lodge. For added luxury, you can include a private outdoor hot tub. We’ll talk you though all your options so you can choose the perfect lodge for you and your family.

The running costs are much like those you have in your home - gas and electricity, water rates and other variable expenses. In addition, you need to consider the annual pitch fees and the cost of insuring your lodge. Find out more about the ongoing costs on the link below. We can also give you some typical scenarios to help with your planning.
It’s quite important to understand that owning a holiday lodge isn’t a financial investment with returns. It’s about choosing the lifestyle you want, and the ‘return’ on your investment is in your own wellbeing. Renting out your holiday lodge to guests during your absence can help cover some of your ongoing expenses; however, this income is not assured.
Yes, many of our owners let their holiday lodges when they are not using them. We have a letting service that handles everything to save you from any headaches. This can generate extra funds but it’s not a dependable income so don’t build it into your financial plans.
We don’t offer finance terms at St Mabyn, so you will need to consider how you will raise funds to buy your lodge. This could mean using your savings or arranging a bank loan.
